Electrical Engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electronic equipment including portable music players, GPS navigation systems, and large broadcast or communications systems. They may specialize in areas such as communications processing, signal processing, or control systems. Or, specialize within one of these areas--such as industrial robot control systems or aviation electronics.
